School-Based Problem Solving
Committee

| This is the SBPS group meeting. (Left to Right) Mrs. B. Anderson, Mrs. Lacy, Mrs. Kelley, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. G. Anderson. | What is SBPS? School-Based Problem Solving is a regular education initiative for students who are at risk of school failure. |
| The SBPS process utilizes curriculum-based assessments, interviews and observations to gather relevant data on students. Our goal is to improve the student's academic and/or classroom behavior and to improve and refine instructional skills so that the regular education classroom teacher is better enabled to teach students with diverse learning characteristics and needs. |

| Mrs. F. Tate, CPS mentor for SBPS, addresses teachers and ESPs in the Firman theater. |
